• This course is designed to provide the ACLS Instructor with information about how to teach the ACLS provider courses. The class includes orientation to AHA materials as well as mock class scenarios to enhance classroom management techniques. 

What to do prior to the class

1. The ACLS Instructor Essentials course must be completed online prior to this course. Please complete it at https://elearning.heart.org/course/803

What to bring to the class

1. A copy of the ACLS Instructor Essentials course completion certificate
2. A copy (front and back) of your current ACLS Provider card
3. An ACLS Instructor manual. It can be purchased through the American Heart Association at https://shopcpr.heart.org/product-type/instructor-materials

Where to Go

1. Park in the Sullivan Center parking lot directly north of the Mercy College main building. If that lot is full, there is a large parking lot available immediately to the west at the corner of Crocker St. and 7th.
2. Use the crosswalk on 6th to come to the College Hill/Academic Center for Excellence building at 921 6th Ave.
3. There is available parking in this lot for persons with disabilities. Otherwise, be aware that it is a tow zone.
4. The entrance you will use is the South Entrance, which is the lower level adjacent to Crocker St.
5. If you’re more than five minutes early, you might not be able to get in. So hang tight!
