Notes:	Please make sure you've gone into HealthStreams to do your BLS Part 1. Please remember to bring your official certificate of completion into the skills check-off.

Please add [email protected] to your safe addresses list - PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR A CLASS - to ensure that you receive the course confirmation email.

This course is for students who have already taken the BLS Provider-Initial Course and need to recertify their BLS Provider. If you have never taken a BLS Provider course, then please sign-up for the BLS Provider-Initial Course.

The skills lab will be held at: MercyOne Newton Medical Center (204 N 4th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208).

To attend this session you must have HeartCode BLS Part 1 completed.  Bring your HeartCode BLS Online Course Completion certificate (MercyOne employees - this is NOT the certificate that says "RQI" on it) - or you will be unable to test. 

How to Do Part 1 Online

If you are a MercyOne/Trinity employee, you must email Sara Snyder at [email protected] and ask to be assigned the Heartcode BLS Part 1. She will assign it, and then you can visit the Learn platform and complete the online portion.
